What IF? Fantasy of a Welcoming Pakistan

Here's a thought; what if all those cars that came to Pakistan had continued coming and buyers had actually welcomed them all and not killed them due to "lack of resale". Did you ever wonder how juicy our local market would've been and what all we could be getting instead of the boring old Toyota; Honda & Suzuki?

Imagine if we were getting all these options then would we have been able to get blackmailed by Suzuki and forced to buy the decades old Mehran & Cultus? Internationally the sixth generation of Honda City was launched in 2013 and we will get it in 2016; I'm sure Honda would've never treated Pakistan like this if there was such tough competition in Pakistan. Toyota still sells XLi without airbags, abs or power windows and the car is priced over 1.6 million. Only if there was competition we would be getting the value for our money. However unfortunately we are slave to our resale value which is why we let the only three players manipulate us because we are afraid to take a chance.
